Had to request authorisation from Edinburgh Airport in order to fly here. The process was quite straight-forward and efficiently dealt with. The only thing that took me by surprise was the extra level of authorisation that DJI needed. The software recognised that I was in a restricted area and wouldn't let me fly until I had applied for a verification code. It took a few minutes to sort - not sure if they checked that I had a pre-authorisation with the airport but all was sorted in the end.
